What do we do with this information?
Your Feedback
The contributions you make to Inner Revolution will be used anonymously, although we reserve the right to send you newsletter emails once you either sign-up or register. If you decide at any point that you no longer want to receive those emails, that’s fine. Simply unsubscribe and we’ll delete your email from our systems. If you want to de-register from our site and have your name and postcode removed, that’s fine too. Just email us.
Posted Content
You are free to post content on Inner Revolution within the guidelines outlined in our Code of Conduct. You will be asked to contribute your email, name and postcode before you do so. We remind contributors to bear in mind that if all personal information that you post online (such as personal life experiences) you are placing in the public domain, and we cannot guarantee that others using the Internet will not gather and use it in whatever way they wish. These include Google and others who recognise your username on the site; but also malicious programmes online, such as email harvesters used by spammers.
If we want to contact you directly about your responses to a blog post or anywhere else where we encourage you to share your story, we will of course let you know. The main exception to this rule occurs in the case of posting malicious or defamatory content for which we have a firm policy. Please go to Code of Conduct for more information.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that many websites create when you visit them. They get stored in your computer’s “cookie directory”. We create two types of cookie when you visit us; session cookies (which disappear when you leave Inner Revolution and close your web browser) and permanent cookies (which stay on your computer between visits to Inner Revolution). Our web servers do this by logging visitor’s domain name and IP address. Don’t worry about this though, it tells us nothing else personal about you.
Why we use cookies
1) They allow us to count the number of times you return to the site and note the pages that you like. This helps us pay attention to the popular pages and remove anything that our users tell us is less useful.
2) We can help you stay logged in while your browser is open, even if you leave the site, until you actually log yourself out.
Our cookie logs for users are held separately from your login details and will never be used in conjunction.
Still have questions?
You are of course more than welcome to ask us what data we hold on you, and we’ll tell you everything. If have a further enquiry about your personal data, or if you have a question or any concerns about this privacy policy or about the site, simply can let us know by clicking .
Changes to this privacy policy
As we grow and contributors evolve the site, it likely that our privacy policy will evolve too, to accommodate everyone’s needs. When we do update it, we’ll add new content on this page.
